On July 1, 2026,  members of the Lebanese Private Sector Network  working on the GovX initiative met with Minister Kamal Shehadi and his team at MITAI to review the latest progress and discuss the next phase of implementation.

During the meeting, the team shared the latest developments on GovX, highlighting that the system is now ready to onboard real government workflows and practical use cases.

The next step is for the Ministry to identify a number of priority processes—potentially beginning with examples from the Ministry of Economy - so that these workflows can be mapped, integrated into GovX, and tested in a real trial environment.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue follow-up discussions to align on the selected workflows, validate the approach, and move GovX closer to practical implementation within the public sector.

This marks an important step toward building a more efficient, transparent, and digitally enabled government experience in Lebanon.
