The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for planning, designing, and executing visually engaging showroom displays that bring the brand’s identity to life and enhance the customer experience across all branches. This role bridges creativity with strategy — ensuring that every showroom layout and product presentation not only attracts attention but also drives sales and strengthens the company’s market positioning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Baccalaureate Diploma or TS Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
3–5 years of experience in retail or furniture visual merchandising, with proven impact on customer experience and brand presentation.
A strong portfolio demonstrating layout design, creative concepts, and brand interpretation.
COMPETENCIES:
Strategic and creative thinker with a clear understanding of customer behavior and spatial planning.
Excellent sense of design, composition, and detail.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence and align with cross-functional teams.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and travel between branches.
Proficient in MS Office; design software knowledge (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop) is an advantage.
Strong understanding of how visual merchandising contributes to sales and brand building.
Languages: Read, speak, and write Arabic and English. French is an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Showroom Visual Planning & Execution
Plan and execute attractive and customer-centric product displays that reflect seasonal trends, promotions, and the company’s visual identity.
Design layouts that create a logical and engaging customer journey through branches, highlighting key product categories and upselling opportunities.
Ensure each branch provides a consistent and immersive experience that aligns with the brand’s tone and positioning.
Customer Experience & Strategic Impact
Translate the company’s brand vision into a compelling in-store experience that fosters customer satisfaction, emotional connection, and loyalty.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure displays support overall business goals such as increased footfall, longer dwell times, and higher conversion rates.
Use visual merchandising as a strategic tool to enhance customer engagement and elevate the showroom as a destination experience.
Promotional Campaign Support
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to support campaigns through thematic displays, launch presentations, and promotional storytelling.
Coordinate visual elements that tie into brand messaging for new collections, sales events, or seasonal themes.
Branch Audits & Standards
Conduct routine visits to all branches to audit visual standards, lighting, and display maintenance.
Train and support sales teams in maintaining visual standards and understanding the importance of customer impact.
Branding & Styling
Ensure visual consistency with the brand’s style guide, from color schemes and signage to display hierarchy and product messaging.
Develop in-branch signage and visual cues that simplify navigation and enhance product discovery for customers.
Product Knowledge & Market Trends
Stay informed about furniture, lifestyle, and retail design trends to keep showrooms current and innovative.
Use competitor analysis and market research to adapt strategies and strengthen the brand's competitive edge.
Inventory & Display Management
Coordinate closely with inventory and logistics to ensure availability and proper display of featured items.
Maintain efficient rotation of products, ensuring showrooms reflect the latest stock and highlight strategic stock keepings.
