We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting and Taxation Manager to join our growing team in a reputable manufacturing firm. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, taxation, cash management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires strong collaboration with the CFO and Financial Controller to drive accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insights within the finance department.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
Minimum 7–8 years of experience in accounting and taxation, with at least 2 years in a senior role
Experience in the manufacturing sector is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of Lebanese tax laws, NSSF, and VAT regulations
Proven leadership and team management skills
High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work under pressure
Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
Languages:
English is a must, French is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Trial Balance & Fixed Assets Management
Clean up and audit all Trial Balance (TB) accounts
Maintain fixed asset register and manage timely depreciations
Ensure monthly provisions and accurate accounting entries
Cash & Liquidity Management
Assist CFO in achieving targeted liquidity
Provide accurate and timely data for weekly and monthly bank reconciliations (including AR & AP)
Receivables Management
Prepare weekly aging reports and daily reports for unsettled invoices
Follow up on collections and ensure action is taken promptly
Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance
Support CFO in monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) issuance
Ensure timely NSSF and VAT declarations with quarterly reporting on unrecovered VAT
Lead income tax declarations and propose tax-saving opportunities
Account Reconciliations
Align AR and AP balances with clients and suppliers (target: 80% match)
Reconcile inventory balances with actual physical stock (variance < 2%)
Coordination with Holding Entity
Oversee monthly invoicing and reconciliation with Tanmia Holding
Team Leadership & Performance
Review team performance monthly with MIS Manager support
Maintain morale and awareness (target: team morale >80%)
Promote updated financial processes and inter-team collaboration
