Hub Description

Launched during the Lebanon Works @ Work event, the Home-Based Healthcare Hub gathered key stakeholders, including Lebanese Private Sector Network (LPSN) members, government officials, healthcare providers, syndicates, insurers, and civil society leaders, to chart a bold new course for Lebanon’s healthcare system.

The session reflected a shared national vision: to transform care delivery through public-private collaboration, digital innovation, and meaningful policy reform. At the core of this transformation is a commitment to expand home-based health services, invest in caregiver and nursing training, and support health-focused startups, positioning healthcare as both a pillar of well-being and a catalyst for economic recovery.

Building on this momentum, the LPSN Health Unit is now driving the next phase of action, including:

  • - Submitting a new draft law, as pledged by the Head of Parliament’s Health Committee, with input from across the sector.
  • - Developing a comprehensive implementation playbook outlining training, certification, and operational standards to professionalize and scale the sector.

This initiative marks a pivotal step in reshaping healthcare delivery, one that places human dignity, economic opportunity, and national resilience at its core.
